The SBA’s Iowa District Office is ready to accept nominations for the 2023 National and District Small Business Week Awards, including the annual Small Business Person of the Year Award.
The SBA Awards given in celebration of National and District Small Business Week include the following awards:
Iowa District Small Business Week Categories
- Small Business Person of the Year (National and District)
- Small Business Exporter of the Year (National and District)
- Minority Small Business Champion of the Year (District Only)
- Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year (District Only)
- Women in Business Champion of the Year (District Only)

Phoenix Awards for Disaster Recovery
- Phoenix Award for Small Business Disaster Recovery
- Phoenix Award for Small Business Disaster Recovery – Mitigation

The Iowa District Office must receive all nominations for Iowa SBA awards by electronic submission ONLY to the District’s BOX account no later than 2 p.m. Central time Dec. 8.
