Habitat for Humanity presents Women Build classes

Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity is conducting monthly Women Build classes aimed at empowering women to learn do-it-yourself skills in a friendly, collaborative environment.

The August class – Hand & Power Tool Classes For Women – will focus on basic and advanced hand and power tool usage. The basic class will be 5:30-6:30 p.m. The advanced class will be 7-8 p.m. Both classes will be held at Weiss Home Improvement, 1720 Robins Road Suite 200, Hiawatha. Cost is $10 per class. The classes are open to women 18 and older, regardless of experience level.
