Forbes ranks Dupaco a top small employer in America

For the second time in a month, Forbes has recognized Dupaco Community Credit Union. This time, the magazine has ranked Dupaco a top small employer in America.

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to assess nearly 10,000 businesses nationwide. These assessment tools included:

  • Anonymous surveys of employees using targeted access panels and open participation from the public.
  • Tracking of job-related websites to gauge employer reputation, engagement, retention, benefits and more.
  • Social listening text analysis of news websites and blogs as well as platforms such as Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter and YouTube to assess the company’s relationship with its employees.

This is the first time Forbes completed a ranking of top small employers in America. Of the 300 companies recognized, Dupaco ranked 61st overall and 11th within the banking and financial industry category.

Dupaco President and CEO Joe Hearn said the financial cooperative is humbled to be recognized as a top employer and gives credit to the organization’s members and employees.

“As a member-owned cooperative, Dupaco’s mission is to improve each member’s financial position,” Mr. Hearn said in a release. “This recognition is successfully achieved by a team of passionate and engaged employees who work together and carry out Dupaco’s mission to help members build a life worth loving.”

North Iowa Area Community College, Loras College and the University of Dubuque also ranked in the top 100.
