What’s the best advice you ever received?
“Never tell your friends you will meet them inside the concert,” from Scott Byers.
What would most people be surprised to learn about you?
I’m absolutely terrified of flying, yet I probably find myself on a plane at least a dozen times a year. Thank you, Xanax!
How do you ensure a balance between work and your personal life?
My wife and I are very good at planning many activities and making sure we attend these activities in order to meet up with friends and maintain relationships outside of work. We both also suffer from serious FOMO [fear of missing out], so this makes it easier for us to attend activities and get out of the house and workplace.
What’s something people should know about your generation in the workplace?
We are hard workers. Just because we’re not at our desks without our faces in our computers doesn’t mean we’re not getting work done.
If you had $1 million to give, what causes would you support?
I’d give $100,000 to all local theaters and make sure every kid has access to some sort of cultural outlet.
What is the biggest issue facing the Corridor?
We need to attract more outside businesses to come and make their home here in the Corridor. This will ensure economic development, which will trickle down and improve every facet of life for all.
What book(s) are you currently reading?
“A. Lincoln: A Biography” by Ronald White and “Sick In the Head” by Judd Apatow.
Who are your local mentors?
Scott Byers, father and broker/developer with Pivot Real Estate, and Joe Ahmann, owner of Pivot and Ahmann Companies.
