The seventh annual Bike Ride of Iowa County (BRIC) will be held Aug. 13 in the Amana Colonies.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. at Hotel Millwright. Riders will then travel 28 miles
through the Amana Colonies and enter Marengo, its halfway point from the north
before heading south to Highway 6 and returning to Amana. There is also an optional
loop to Fireside Winery to make the route 31 miles for those who wish to go the extra
miles and enjoy wine tasting.
There will be plenty to do in the Amana Colonies the day of the ride, including the annual Amana Arts Guild’s Festival of the Arts, along with great food and drink.
