Wings2Water accepting grant applications through May 5

Wings2Water, an environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring
water quality in the Mississippi River watershed, is accepting grant applications for 2023.

The grant process is open to educational organizations or school groups, nonprofit
organizations, farmers or individuals committed to practices that improve water quality  and government agencies dedicated to conservation and the environment.

“Wings2Water has witnessed tremendous success with water quality projects that we’ve
supported financially in the past,” said Marty Lenss, Wings2Water board president, in a release. “These projects motivate us to continue our fundraising efforts and push for water quality restoration.”

This year, the grant application process is being expanded to include educational organizations looking to fund educational programs, as well as farmers who may need financial support for conservation practices.

Grant applications are due May 5. Information on the grant process and a link to the application can be found here. Questions about the grants and grant process should be directed to grants@wings2water.org.

Wings2Water is based at the Eastern Iowa Airport.
