Travero Logistics earns John Deere’s Partner-level supplier status

Travero Logistics has earned Partner-level supplier status for 2023 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence program.

Partner-level is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating.

John Deere selected Fairfax-based Travero Logistics in recognition of the company’s dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement, according to a release.

Travero employees accepted the honor during formal ceremonies April 11 in Moline, Illinois.

Travero Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliant Energy, supplies freight brokerage services to multiple John Deere manufacturing facilities.

“The team was thrilled to learn that our client-focused efforts met Deere & Company’s partner-level status expectations,” said Landon Weninger, Travero Logistics general manager. “We pride ourselves on exceeding client expectations and creating customized solutions.”

Deere & Company annually evaluates suppliers that participate in its Achieving Excellence program in several key performance categories, including quality, delivery, process alignment, value creation and relationship. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.

Travero Inc. provides supply chain solutions via a portfolio of integrated logistics services including freight transportation brokerage, warehousing, rail freight and barge terminal services. The company, formerly known as Alliant Energy Transportation, changed its name to Travero in July 2020.
