Solutions Management Group to open new operations center in Cedar Rapids

The Davenport-based tech company will host a grand opening on Jan. 14

Solutions Management Group (SMG), a provider of technology solutions and computer consulting, will open a new operations center in Cedar Rapids. SMG is headquartered in Davenport, and broke ground on the Cedar Rapids location in October 2023. 

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Jan. 14 at 4 p.m., with the new center located at 635 Bell Drive S.W. The event is open to the public and will offer hors d’oeuvres, refreshments, and networking opportunities for local business leaders, community members, clients, and partners. 

SMG’s expansion into Cedar Rapids is part of the company’s broader growth strategy to better serve clients throughout the region, as stated in a news release from SMG. The new facility will support the company’s efforts to provide customized tech solutions, including workflow automation, technology lifecycle management, print and document solutions, structured cabling, and video security and access control.

“We are thrilled to open this new location in Cedar Rapids and strengthen our ties to the local community,” said SMG President Keith Lindbloom, in the release. “This new facility will allow us to better serve our clients in the region while creating more opportunities for collaboration and growth. We’re excited to be part of the Cedar Rapids business community and look forward to continuing to provide innovative, cost-effective solutions to our clients.”

The ribbon-cutting will be followed by a reception where attendees can meet with the SMG team and learn more about the company’s services.
