Solutions Management Group (SMG) has begun construction on a new office and warehouse facility in southwest Cedar Rapids.
SMG hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Oct. 23 at the construction site at 635 Bell Ave. SW. The new facility is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2024.
The new Solutions Management Group warehouse in Cedar Rapids will be approximately 9,000 square feet and will house computers, audiovisual equipment and copiers for deployment to clients. In addition to the warehouse, the new facility will include office space, meeting rooms and a reception area.
Construction oversight is being provided by Daxon Construction of Davenport. OPN Architects of Cedar Rapids will serve as the project’s architect, and project funding is being provided by Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust.
“This groundbreaking ceremony marks the next phase of growth, as well as a long-term strategy that aims to make SMG the leading technology company in Iowa,” SMG owner Keith Lindbloom said. “The partnerships we are creating have enormous potential, and we are very excited about the journey ahead.”
