Iowa Nonprofit Alliance celebrating launch in Iowa City

The newly formed Iowa Nonprofit Alliance (INA) is celebrating its official launch with regional events this spring and summer.

One of those celebrations will happen 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art, 160 W. Burlington St., Iowa City. 

Local nonprofit organizations, leaders and advocates are welcome to attend. The work of regional nonprofits will be lifted up and INA invites participants to join in the effort to strengthen the nonprofit sector. The goal is to recognize the impact and importance of Iowa’s nonprofit sector. 

The Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center-University of Iowa, Community Foundation of Johnson County, Iowa Women’s Foundation, Tippie College of Business-University of Iowa, Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy-University of Iowa, and Bailey Leadership Initiative, LLC are joining the Iowa Nonprofit Alliance to host this event.

The Iowa Nonprofit Alliance launched in December 2022. INA is now traveling the state of Iowa to celebrate its launch as well as engage the regional nonprofits and lift up the great work they are doing in their area. INA is dedicated to supporting Iowa’s 23,000 nonprofit organizations through education, advocacy and networking.
