GreatAmerica accepting applications for Employee Advised Fund

GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation has opened the spring application period for its Employee Advised Fund (EAF). Applications from area nonprofits will be accepted through March 28.

This announcement follows GreatAmerica’s recent recognition with the Community Impact Award from Monitor magazine, celebrating the company’s contributions to local communities.

The EAF empowers GreatAmerica employees to make charitable giving decisions on behalf of the company. This spring marks the fifth round of giving for the EAF, which has awarded $1 million to more than 30 unique nonprofit organizations in the Corridor, according to a news release.

“For more than 30 years, GreatAmerica has been strongly embedded in our community and understands our responsibility to give back. Our Employee Advised Fund is a key component of our GreatAmerica Gives Back initiative, allowing our team to support the causes they care about most,” said Martin Golobic, CEO of GreatAmerica Financial Services, in the release. “Receiving Monitor’s Community Impact Award is a testament to our employees’ dedication and the positive impact we strive to make every day.”

Nonprofit organizations must have a registered 501(c)(3) status and a GreatAmerica employee sponsor to apply. The awards focus on four areas: health and human services, arts and culture, environment, and public projects. For more information or to apply, visit http://www.greatamerica.com/giving.
