First MainStreet Insurance (FMSI) has announced the addition of three new agencies to its growing network, marking a significant expansion of its presence in the Midwest.

Pederson Insurance, a well-established agency located in Nevada, Iowa, officially became part of the FMSI platform on July 1. Under the leadership of Jarod Pederson, who has owned the agency for two decades, Pederson Insurance offers a comprehensive range of products, including auto, commercial, farm, financial, home, and powersports insurance.

Mid-July saw the addition of StateWide Insurance, based in Brookings, South Dakota. This acquisition marks FMSI’s second agency in South Dakota. Jeff Jacobson, the new local owner, will lead the agency, which specializes in crop, livestock, and PRF rainfall insurance, further strengthening FMSI’s agricultural offerings.

Rounding out the trio of acquisitions is McCartan Insurance Group, joining the FMSI network on Aug. 1. Located in West Des Moines, McCartan Insurance Group brings expertise in auto, business, commercial auto, cyber liability, and general liability insurance to the table. Joel McCartan, the new partner, will guide the agency’s integration into FMSI.
