Feb. 14 is Valentine’s Day, but it’s also You Matter Day at UnityPoint Health hospitals. It’s a day to show team members just how much they matter. Some of the hospital managers and administrators were up early this morning handing out candy and valentines to team members as they came into work this morning. You Matter Day is a celebration at UnityPoint Health, which started several years ago to shower our health care workers with love, appreciation and gratitude.
If community members would like to thank a health care worker at UnityPoint Health – there are a few ways – they include sending an e-card via the hospital’s website, donating blood, getting the COVID vaccine or booster or donating to the hospital foundation to support health care workers.
