Grow Solar Linn + Johnson Counties’ “Solar Power Hours” recordings are now available online with both English and Spanish captions, as well as American Sign Language (ASL), program organizers announced in a news release.
The Grow Solar program that provides solar education and an opportunity to purchase affordable solar for homes and businesses, is expanding its outreach.
The one-hour Solar Power Hour gives people throughout Linn and Johnson counties a chance to learn how solar works, about the volume purchasing program, and how it can help both property owners and communities as a whole become sustainable.
Live Solar Power Hours will also continue to be offered in spoken English throughout August. To sign up for those Power Hours or to sign up for program alerts, visit linnjohnson.growsolar.org. More information is also available at https://www.facebook.com/GrowSolarLinnJohnsonCounties.
To date, more than 200 people have attended an online Solar Power Hour, and the first few contracts have been signed. The program begins with discounted pricing for property owners, and the more people who sign on, the lower the price goes.
