National Safety Training Service (NSTS), a workplace safety training provider for more than 30 years, has rebranded as Midwest Safety Partners following a change in ownership.
The company was purchased in 2024 by Kimberly Bramley, a local entrepreneur, and Keith Rippy, CEO of Area Ambulance Service in Cedar Rapids. NSTS was founded in 1991 by Kate White Graham and has provided CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED), and first aid training for businesses and organizations in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
The rebranding reflects the company’s shift toward offering additional services, including blended learning options that combine online and in-person instruction, as well as compliance support to help large employers manage training requirements.
Ms. Bramley said the company aims to develop long-term relationships with clients beyond individual training sessions.
“My time at Area Ambulance Service has taught me how important it is for team members and bystanders to be prepared for health and medical emergencies because they can happen at any time,” Mr. Rippy said. “We plan to expand training opportunities for businesses and organizations across the Midwest.”
