Manufacturing in China – Yea or Nay

First, let’s all agree that if your invention, OEM part, Widget – or whatever your item – can be manufactured here in Iowa or somewhere in the USA, that is great news. As a patriot, I’m excited to see the “Made in America” label on products sold here and around the world. On the flip side, some products would never see the light of day if they had to be made domestically.

Consumers know what they are willing to pay for a particular item. Retailers demand a significant profit margin and they won’t invest in your product if the math doesn’t come out in their advantage. It’s an unfortunate truth that some products must be made offshore.

Our company provides manufacturing services to Western companies in North America and around the world. International trade is conducted in English; however, if English is your second language, there can be difficulties.

Our company is a group of 14 very talented English/Chinese-speaking staff members. For the last 19 years I have lived in China building and coaching our team to meet and exceed American expectations from backyard inventors, all the way up to large multi-million dollar corporations. I am personally involved in every step of the process to ensure compliance.

What Can You Help Us With?

Relationships are extremely important to the manufacturing process. We have developed solid long-term relationships with factories making a wide variety of items out of plastics, metals, electronics, wood, fabrics and more. We help you with packaging, logistics and virtually all issues related with the manufacture and export of goods out of China. We can help with U.S. importing and getting your order to land at your docks.

Why Now? The Tariffs Are Too Expensive!

Now is the perfect time to start your research since the tariffs will not last. When you choose to make a part or product in China, it will take months to a year or more to get everything perfected so that when you’re ready, you will be comfortable knowing we’ll be making exactly what you need, at the right quality and price.

What Is Our First Step?

After the exchange of an NDA, NNA or other such document, you tell me what you need made. We continue the dialog until I can hand it over to my team. Once we have answered all questions, we will find an appropriate factory that can produce your item and provide you with a quote FOB China Port.
