Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) has unveiled a new website intended to simplify the presentation of agency information and make it easier for Iowans to find workforce solutions.
The new site, located at workforce.iowa.gov, includes a new structure focused on increasing clarity in a more user-friendly experience.
With the launch, the previous version at iowaworkforcedevelopment.gov will cease immediately. Instead, web browsers pointed at the old home page address and/or following old bookmarks will be automatically redirected to the new page.
The new website comes as part of a broader effort to unify the State of Iowa’s online presence and make it easier for Iowans to navigate government web pages. More agencies are scheduled to make a similar transition to the new platform in the coming months – including some previously self-contained sub-units of IWD, such as the Vocational Rehabilitation Services division, which joined IWD in July as part of a statewide government realignment.
Iowans are encouraged to explore the new site and take advantage of workforce information. Questions or concerns about the new website can be directed to [email protected].
