Honkamp Payroll, LLC, a payroll and human capital management company headquartered in Dubuque, has recently acquired BRL HR Consulting LLC, a human resources consulting firm.
Effective March 30, 2024, BRL HR Consulting LLC, based in North Liberty, will be merged into Honkamp Payroll, according to a news release.
Honkamp Payroll will be retaining workers at BRL, including founder and President Brenda LaMarche. Ms. LaMarche and her team will continue to operate in the North Liberty area, according to the release.
“This acquisition will allow the Honkamp Payroll team to broaden its range of services. With the addition of BRL’s expertise and resources, Honkamp Payroll will offer even more comprehensive solutions to clients,” said Honkamp Payroll CEO Mike Welbes. “We believe joining forces is a great opportunity for clients and staff. With the integration of BRL, Honkamp Payroll has expanded its employee base, reinforcing our commitment to growth and enhancing capabilities.”
