2021 Morning Keynote: To Be the Employer of Choice, Be the Leader of Choice
John Russett, retired VP of manufacturing at General Mills Inc.

Over 34 years with General Mills, Mr. Russett moved through multiple plants, products, and technical platforms for a continuous learning experience. Taking on roles of increasing responsibility, including 15 years as a plant manager, he spent the last several years with accountability for North America Manufacturing. Development at General Mills also extended outside the factory. Mr. Russett developed leadership experiences with NASA, Coach John Wooden, and the USAF Thunderbirds and Operation Red Flag.

After retiring in 2014, he founded Sixth Man Enterprises, a group committed to leadership and organizational development in emerging businesses.

2021 Luncheon Keynote: 25 years of Manufacturing Evolution in Genomics
Trey Martin, senior vice president, new business at Danaher Corporation

Trey Martin started at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in 1994 as a manufacturing technician. Since then IDT has scaled from 30 oligonucleotides per day to over 100,000, and from $300,000 annual revenue to over $550 million. Trey was appointed SVP/COO of IDT in 2006, and president in April 2018 following the acquisition of IDT by Danaher Corporation. In August 2021 he was named senior vice president, new business – genomic medicine for Danaher Corporation.
