Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC) will host a “floss cutting” in honor of the grand opening of the EIHC Dental Health Clinic, 1210 4th Ave. SE.
According to a news release, the event will take place Thursday, April 11, from 3 – 5 p.m. at the new clinic. Facility tours will be available during the event with officials to make brief remarks at 4 p.m. The “floss cutting” will be attended by donors, elected officials, EIHC Board of Directors, staff, community partners, and the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance.
EIHC–Dental Health recently hired its sixth full-time dentist and will operate with a 36-member dental team – expecting to serve 25,000 dental appointments in the first full year of operation in the new building, which took $5.6M and 60 weeks to complete. The project concluded on November 21, 2023
