After a recent expansion of facilities and services, Apple Creek Kennel has rebranded to become Apple Creek Canine Resort.
According to owner Nikee Woods, the expansion of the Marion facility nearly doubles their size and separates services into two buildings conveniently located across the street from each other.
To celebrate, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, in front of the new building at 645 51st St. in Marion. The canine resort will also host an open house from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, and 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.
“After a busy 2021 we found ourselves pausing the acceptance of new clients in 2022 due to the high demand of pet owners needing quality canine care,” said Ms. Woods. “We knew expanding within our current community was the best way to proceed.”
The new facility will offer canine clients the next level of boarding care with several different suites for canines of all sizes. Luxury Suites, which are outfitted with a TV, nightlight and other extra amenities, are also available.
The current facility at 650 51st St. will continue to be used as doggie daycare and spa only appointments Monday–Friday.
“From longer playtimes to canine enrichment opportunities and the ability to care for pups that need a closer eye-from age to medical conditions, we are excited to continue striving for the very best for your dogs,” said Ms. Woods.
