AMPERAGE acquires Hansen Henley Yoder & Lamb

AMPERAGE Marketing & Fundraising announced its acquisition of Minneapolis-based fundraising firm Hansen Henley Yoder & Lamb (HHYL) on April 5.

“Our fundraising team has delivered exceptional results for our clients, and we’re excited to expand that team to include the HHYL team,” AMPERAGE president and CEO Bryan Earnest said in a release. “The synergy between our approaches and the clients we work with made this an outstanding fit for AMPERAGE, and it’s another way AMPERAGE is moving forward to make an even larger positive impact for clients.”

Between AMPERAGE and HHYL, the two companies have raised hundreds of millions of dollars for nonprofits in a range of fields including education, health care, arts and culture, conservation, human services, and many more. Each company has a rich history in fundraising including conducting campaign feasibility studies and consulting on a range of fundraising efforts such as capital campaigns, development assessments and endowment campaigns.

AMPERAGE will provide increased benefits for HHYL clients including in-house branding, marketing and public relations solutions. Along with campaign consulting and marketing capabilities, AMPERAGE dedicates one team to oversee the campaign from beginning to end, so support and approach remain consistent throughout the duration of the campaign.

“AMPERAGE aligned with our company on far more than values, and we’re thrilled to move forward as part of AMPERAGE,” HHYL president Tim Torgerson said. “We’re going to make this a seamless transition for our clients, and we’re excited for all the new opportunities our clients will have to handle fundraising and marketing with the same team.”

Mr. Torgerson will work as an adviser with AMPERAGE, and HHYL CEO Brighid Hansen will continue to advise during this transition toward her planned retirement in the coming months.

“AMPERAGE brings a broad array of capabilities, unparalleled in the fundraising marketplace here in Minnesota,” Ms. Hansen said. “I am thrilled that HHYL’s commitment to quality client service aligns with this regionally based national firm. It couldn’t be a better fit at a better time. It feels great to know I’m leaving our work in capable hands.”

AMPERAGE will work with HHYL to welcome new clients and continue its outstanding work providing consultation throughout fundraising campaigns that make an impact.
