Alexandra Olsen is the new managing editor for the Corridor Business Journal. She joined the Corridor Media Group, the parent company of the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal and the Corridor Business Journal, as digital editor in April of 2022 and was promoted to managing editor in December. Before this, Ms. Olsen had been the director of marketing and annual giving at the NewBo City Market, Cedar Rapids, for 2 ½ years. In addition, she was a food columnist and freelance writer for The Cedar Rapids Gazette for that same time period. Prior to this, Ms. Olsen worked as a digital editor at The Gazette for 2 ½ years. She has her bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism from Columbia College, Chicago, and earned her associate’s degree from Black Hawk College, Moline.
