Athletic apparel retailer lululemon plans to relocate and expand within Iowa River Landing in Coralville, moving to a new space that will more than double its current store size.

The expanded location is expected to open in fall 2026 between Active Endeavors and Marquee Pizzeria.

lululemon first came to Coralville as a pop-up store in 2017, and opened a full-line store at the Iowa River Landing in the fall of 2017. The retailer then opened in a larger location in the IRL in 2019, increasing their square footage by 40%.

“As a neighborhood we are so excited to see the expansion of lululemon’s IRL footprint,” said Kristie Wetjen, Iowa River Landing manager. “They are more than a great retailer; they’re a great community partner. The new location more than doubles their size, allowing for the broader product selection shoppers have been asking for.”

The move comes as Iowa River Landing adds new retail tenants. Sunny grae, a woman-owned boutique featuring eco-conscious apparel and accessories, opened Jan. 10. Crisp and Green, which specializes in salads, grain bowls and smoothies, is expected to open later this month.
