University of Iowa Health Care announced it’s now seeking applicants to fill roles at its North Liberty campus, a comprehensive academic health center situated on 60 acres on the corner of Forevergreen Road and Highway 965.
Currently under construction but on track to open by spring 2025, the campus is hiring positions in nursing, pharmacy, pathology services, respiratory therapy, imaging technology, environmental services, food and nutrition services, guest services, safety and security, and more.
“A variety of shifts and flexible scheduling options are available for many of these positions,” a release stated.
“Our North Liberty campus provides an array of exciting opportunities for qualified applicants to explore their passion in a career that makes a meaningful difference in the health and well-being of patients and families,” said Amy O’Deen, chief administrative officer for the North Liberty campus. “We’re excited about our progress and look forward to expanding access to care and serving Iowans in a world-class center of excellence.”
The new campus will house UI Health Care’s Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and provide a range of musculoskeletal services, including orthopedic surgery, inpatient care, and outpatient clinics.
The facility will also feature a full-service Emergency Department, a walk-in clinic for same-day orthopedic injury care, operating rooms, physical therapy and rehabilitation spaces – both indoor and outdoor – laboratory and diagnostic imaging services, durable medical equipment, and a 24-hour drive-thru pharmacy.
External applicants interested in opportunities at the North Liberty campus may visit uihc.org/nljobs to search for positions that match their skills and interests, the release stated.
Current UI Health Care or university employees may view and apply for open positions at the North Liberty campus through the university’s Employee Self-Service portal. Under the “My Career” tab, select “Career and Performance” and click on “Apply for Job Opportunities.”
