Axiom Consultants will host “Play It Forward,” a fundraiser benefiting the Foundation for the Trades, on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at its Iowa City office.
The event at 300 S. Clinton St., Unit 200, will feature games including darts, pinball, shufflepuck, mini golf and cornhole. A $25 donation covers entry, unlimited gameplay, appetizers and beverages.
Proceeds from the Axiom “Play It Forward” event will support the Foundation for the Trades, a nonprofit that provides grants and resources to industrial arts and technology programs in junior and senior high schools across Iowa. The programs aim to prepare students for careers in welding, electrical work, HVAC and construction.
The foundation focuses on funding tools, materials and hands-on learning experiences for students pursuing skilled trades careers.
