Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust (CRBT) will launch “Lunchin’ Local with CRBT” on Friday, Jan. 27 in a new partnership with Joe Sample and Meal POPs to promote dining at local restaurants.
According to a news release sent by CRBT, following their promotion to help restaurants impacted by construction, CRBT is continuing their work through “Lunchin’ Local with CRBT,” where every Friday beginning Jan. 27 to June 30, CRBT will give away 25 $10 gift cards to customers at select restaurants over the lunch hour.
The first event will kick off at Chophouse followed by Double Z’s on Friday, Feb. 3 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
In addition, Meal POPs, a restaurant rewards app that offers monthly cash vouchers to local restaurants with a subscription, will be on-site-giving free subscriptions to new users. Joe Sample, known as the ‘support local guy,’ will also be on-site promoting the event, according to the release.
“CRBT has a strong commitment to our community, and we’re excited for ‘Lunchin’ Local with CRBT’ to highlight the amazing restaurants available for dining in Cedar Rapids,” said CRBT president James Klein in the release. “Our partnership with Joe Sample and Meal POPs are a natural fit as we all recognize a greater need to uplift local restaurants, especially during these tough economic times.”
