Mercy Iowa City has announced its affiliation with OB-GYN Associates of Iowa City and Coralville.
Located at located at 2769 Heartland Drive, #201, Coralville, the clinic will operate under the new name Corridor OB GYN and will continue to provide patients ob-gyn care in a community-based care setting.
“Mercy Iowa City is thrilled to continue providing obstetric and gynecologic services to Iowa City and its surrounding communities with the new clinical affiliation of Corridor OB GYN,” said Tom Clancy, president & CEO, Mercy Iowa City, in a news release. “These services are vital to our community, providing women and families a choice in the region for their health care resources.”
“We are delighted to expand our affiliation with Mercy Iowa City and to grow the new practice, focusing on community obstetrics,” said Dr. Jill Goodman, one of the practice’s physicians.
Mercy Iowa City birthing center has five labor and delivery suites, a C-section suite, and a team of providers on-site to assist with procedures and care of mother and baby.
More than 800 babies are born at Mercy Iowa City each year.
