Mercy Iowa City has also been recognized as a recipient of the Outstanding Patient Experience Award for 10 years in a row (2009-2017).

“Every member of the Mercy community contributes to making this hospital one where patients can depend not only on excellent clinical outcomes, but one where their stay is as comfortable and nurturing as it can be,” Shane Cerone, interim president and CEO, stated in a press release. ” I’m extremely proud of the team we have.”
