Mercy Auxiliary is hosting Spring Bazaar

Mercy Cedar Rapids

The Mercy Auxiliary will host its Spring Bazaar after suspending it for two years due to COVID-19 precautions.

The event will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Mercy Medical Center, 701 10th St. SE. It is free and open to the public.

Local vendors will have their unique, handcrafted merchandise on display and available for purchase in Mercy’s 10th Street lobby and Hallagan Education Center. Guests will find florals and bedding plants from Kroul’s Farm, as well as seasonal home décor; garden art; and many other distinctive, one-of-a-kind items.

Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold for items and gift certificates from local merchants. Each of the six raffle prizes, including an iPad, is valued at more than $500.

The Spring Bazaar is one of several annual fundraising events held by the Mercy Auxiliary, with proceeds supporting various patient care services. The auxiliary is currently raising funds for Mercy’s Cardiothoracic & Vascular Clinic and for HALO sleep sacks for each newborn at Mercy Birthplace.
