Iowa City Council unanimously voted on first consideration Jan. 24 to rezone the future site of a planned senior living community.
The applicant, Western Home Independent Living Services, is attempting to construct 35 single-family homes, eight duplex units, 38 multi-family units, 20 townhome-style multi-family units and an assisted living building with 32 beds.
