Iowa Association of Realtors annual convention set for Oct. 4-6

The Iowa Association of Realtors’ 2022 convention is set for Oct. 4-6 at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown.

Titled “Find A Way or Fade Away,” the event provides Realtors from across Iowa a chance to hear from leading industry experts and attend classes and forums designed to help increase business.

The Iowa Association of Realtors 2022 convention provides a wide variety of continuing education opportunities, with over 24 hours to choose from. Up to 14 hours of continuing education credits are included in the registration fee.

The keynote speaker, Tommy Choi, will offer a presentation titled “Lessons from My Dry Cleaner.” Mr. Choi found life-changing inspiration in an unlikely place: his dry cleaners. In this presentation, he’ll share lessons on adaptation, abundance, fear, and gratitude that he observed while dropping off and picking up laundry. And he’ll show you how he applied what he saw to his business that helped him build a multi-million dollar real estate company in Chicago, He also served as vice president of the National Association Realtors in 2021.

Other speakers include 2022 IAR president Byron Menke, first vice president Shaner Magalhaes, president-elect Krista Clark and immediate past president Jen Burkamper. Award-winning, motivational speaker and corporate real estate consultant. Valerie Garcia will also speak during several sessions at the convention.

Online registration is available until Sept. 28.
