A candy and sweets shop, clothing outlet, jewelry store and fitness center are joining Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville in the next several months.
Beginning in October, the mall will stagger openings for the four new retailers, starting with Lolli & Pops. The sweet treats store has locations across the country, including in Des Moines. It will be located next to Heizberg Diamonds.
Daily Thread will open in November next to Express. Targeting mainly women, the company lives by the slogan "Affordable. Fashion. Everyday." Daily Thread has one other Iowa location in Sioux City, but it will be their first store in the Corridor.
Lovisa and Planet Fitness will round out the newcomers in January 2023.
Carrying "fashionable, on-trend jewelry," the Coral Ridge Mall spot between American Eagle and H&M will be Lovisa's first location in Iowa. They offer earrings, necklaces, rings, watches and other accessories.
Planet Fitness will be at the west end of the mall near Barnes & Noble. It will be the fourth Planet Fitness location in the Corridor.
The new retailers will join Almost Famous Body Piercing as the newest stores to do business at Coral Ridge Mall. Almost Famous does not take appointments and does ear, body and facial piercings.

Three stores will relocate to different spots in the mall next month.
Hallmark will move to the outparcel building between Discount Tire and Red Lobster on the western edge of the property.
Ragstock is going to the space next Bath & Body Works, while Sports Plus is moving beside Scheels.
Coral Ridge Mall is a 1.2 million-square foot enclosed, shopping and entertainment center with five department stores, six big box retailers, a 10-screen movie theater, an NHL regulation-sized ice arena, food court and 100 mall shops.
