Common Sense Institute Iowa taps Lisa Feuerbach as executive director

Common Sense Institute Iowa has a new executive director, the organization announced Friday.

Lisa Feuerbach’s appointment was unanimously approved by CSI Iowa’s board of directors. According to a statement, she was chosen “for her exceptional leadership, extensive experience, and commitment to advancing thoughtful, nonpartisan solutions for Iowa,” as well as her vision and collaborative approach, which align with CSI Iowa’s mission to foster common sense and impactful public policy solutions.

Over the past year, CSI Iowa has addressed critical issues, including workforce development, child care, tax reform, the economic impact of crime and housing affordability.

“With Lisa’s leadership, we are ready to build on this progress and continue driving data-driven discussions that create meaningful economic opportunities for all Iowans,” the release said. “Under her guidance, we look forward to expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and serving as a trusted resource for policymakers and the public alike.”
