Shoppers are invited to an evening stroll in Uptown Marion to sample chocolate treats at the annual Chocolate Walk from 7:30-10 p.m. Oct. 7.
Enter for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to participating Uptown Marion businesses by presenting a receipt at the welcome booth located in the North Plaza. Attendees can also grab an event map with participating stores listed to make their shopping plan.
Entertainment includes acoustic artist Billy Heller on the Uptown Artway stage, street magic performer Jackson Green in the north plaza, and pianist Elisabeth Kissling inside Philip’s Diamond Shop. All entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m.
“This is the perfect event to shop and dine in Uptown and see the new streetscape lit up at night,” Brooke Prouty, Uptown Marion Main Street director, stated in a press release.

The Marion Welcome Center retail space will be open for attendees to shop Marion branded items and apparel. The Welcome Center is housed in the front of the Marion Chamber of Commerce an Uptown Marion Main Street office at 1070 Seventh Ave.
