Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week returns in February

The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance has announced the restaurants selected to participate in the 12th annual Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week.

The event, which will be held Feb. 16-25, will feature special menu items offered by these restaurants:

For the third year in a row, Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week will span a 10-day period that will include two weekends, giving food lovers more opportunities to sample limited-time specialty dishes being offered by the restaurants.

“Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week continues to get bigger and bigger every year and we are honored to put on this event to help increase foot traffic to our local restaurants,” said Coady Sierra, event manager at the Economic Alliance. “Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week is a community favorite and we’re looking forward to showcasing the amazing cuisine we have in the metro next month.”

Foodies can get a sneak peek of the Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week menus as the economic alliance is bringing back the Fork & Knife Feast on Feb. 15 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the EPIC Event Center in Marion.

Fork & Knife Feast will feature the participating Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week restaurants and offer attendees samples of their culinary concoctions. Advance tickets are $75.

Diners are encouraged to post their images and videos of Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week dishes on social media using #CRRestaurantWeek and tagging the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance.
