The Fun Station has opened its new indoor adventure park at 8920 Brighton Way SW in Cedar Rapids, replacing its previous location on Collins Road NE.

The 70,000-square-foot facility, billed as the state’s largest indoor adventure park, features more than 20 attractions, including what the company says is Iowa’s tallest ropes course and the longest indoor zip line in the Midwest. Other attractions include slides, climbing walls, trampolines, laser tag, bumper cars and miniature golf.

Safety is also being stressed, according to the facility’s owners, Edwards Entertainment. “With safety and fun at the forefront, The Fun Station has implemented state-of-the-art safety systems
and employs a highly trained staff to ensure every visitor enjoys a secure, exciting and unforgettable experience,” the owner say.

The new location also includes four food and beverage outlets: Box Car Café, Sweets & Treats, The Rail Yard and The Landing, which features a bar and duckpin bowling.

The Fun Station has operated in Eastern Iowa for 32 years, with locations in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque and the Quad Cities. The facility is available for family outings, birthday parties and corporate events.
