The Potters’ Obsession, a paint-it-yourself pottery studio, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a four-day event Aug. 7-10.
The studio, which opened in 1999, has served as a creative space for families, artists and others seeking hands-on art experiences. The anniversary weekend will feature 25-cent mugs, door prizes, giveaways, treats and refreshments.
“We’re incredibly proud to have been part of the Cedar Rapids community for 25 years,” founder Michelle Kline said. “What started as a small dream to bring art into everyday life has grown into a creative home for hundreds of people over the years. We’re so grateful for the support of our customers, staff, and local schools and organizations that have helped us thrive.”
The Potters’ Obsession offers private events, birthday parties and team-building activities, a release said, with plans to continue fostering creativity and community for future generations.
