The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Coralville on Jan. 12 as part of their newly reimagined Spread Game Tour.
It’s one stop in a tour that will take the world-famous Globetrotters to 200 cities throughout next calendar year. The event will consist of “part streetball…part interactive family entertainment,” according to a statement.
The Spread Game Tour will introduce premium fan experiences where select attendees gain special access to the athletes including celebrity court passes, meet and greets with players, and the #SQUADZONE where fans will be involved with the show.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. through xtreamarena.com, the Xtream Arena Box Office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or harlemglobetrotters.com.
Fans interested in purchasing tickets before Friday can do so if they become a preferred customer through harlemglobetrotters.com or via the Xtream Arena Cyber Club.
The Harlem Globetrotters is just one event Xtream Arena will be hosting in the coming months. The new venue will host the Iowa Heartlanders’ inaugural season in the ECHL, University of Iowa volleyball games and performers, such as Toby Keith.
