World Class Industries announced the opening of a ninth location, its new Supply Chain Integrator (SCI) facility in Hiawatha on May 15.

The new SCI facility will help streamline operations for OEM customers looking to integrate part, or all, of their domestic and/or global supply chains. World Class Industries can essentially act as a single point of contact for Tier 2 supplier consolidation, stock inventory, part repacking and drop shipping, as well as kitting from simple to complex.

The strategic location of the Hiawatha facility allows for just-in-time delivery while minimizing transportation costs.

World Class Industries is a global leader in simplifying assembly, kitting and supply management for the world’s largest original equipment manufacturers and small to medium sized product innovators. The company offers intelligent solutions that create capacity, improve throughput and optimize total supply chain costs.

With eight U.S. locations and one international hub in Germany, WCI has celebrated over 50 years of success in the industry. It is also one of the largest privately held companies in the Corridor.

“We’re incredibly grateful to be able to expand our space and services,” CEO of World Class Industries Brent Cobb said in a news release. “This new facility will help us better support our growing customer base. And it will also allow us to enhance individual supply chain services for stock parts, kitting, and just-in-time delivery to other prospective customers.”
