Van Meter Inc. in Cedar Rapids is now one of the first electrical distributors in North America authorized by Rockwell Automation to participate in the Information Solutions Value-Added Reseller (IS VAR) program.
The collaboration is designed to guide customers through modernizing their manufacturing operations with an expanded information technology and software-related product portfolio.
Modernization is important because today’s manufacturers are tasked with reaching ever-increasing goals with fewer resources, according to a Van Meter news release.

According to the release, IS VAR program provides Van Meter with several advantages, including accelerated time to market and more extensive training and support. It also gives Van Meter’s smart manufacturing business unit access to Rockwell Automation’s comprehensive suite of software and expert support.
