    The historic Cannon-Gay House, a two-story Italianate brick house at 320 Melrose Ave. in Iowa City, will be razed this year after the Iowa Board of Regents granted the University of Iowa’s demolition request during the regents’ meeting Feb. 26 at the Levitt Center for University Advancement on the University of Iowa campus.
