The Technology Association of Iowa has partnered with the Iowa Economic Development Authority to launch the Iowa Tech Talent Network, a new initiative aimed at connecting out-of-state technology professionals considering relocation with Iowa employers seeking tech workers.

The network allows candidates to submit interest profiles through a dedicated landing page at TAI’s website. Prospective candidates can also access the network through thisisiowa.com, IEDA’s quality-of-life website. TAI member employers can search and filter candidate profiles by industry interest, skills, experience level and location, and contact candidates directly about potential opportunities.

Brian Waller, president of the Technology Association of Iowa, said the network is intended to give both job seekers and employers a structured path to connect.

“Iowa’s technology economy is growing across every industry, and that growth depends on talent,” Mr. Waller said. “The Iowa Tech Talent Network creates a clear, practical way for tech professionals to raise their hand and explore opportunities in Iowa, and for employers to connect with people who are genuinely open to making a move. It’s about strengthening our workforce and helping Iowa stay competitive for what’s next.”

IEDA said it plans to develop targeted marketing campaigns directed at technology professionals considering relocation, with messaging focused on career growth and quality of life in Iowa. The agency said Iowa’s technology sector is projected to grow over the next decade.

Debi Durham, director of IEDA and the Iowa Finance Authority, said the initiative expands the agency’s existing talent attraction efforts.

“IEDA has elevated Iowa’s reputation as a place where people can build great careers and enjoy an unmatched quality of life,” Ms. Durham said. “This initiative strengthens the partnerships that help us tell that story at a larger scale. When we connect talent to opportunity, we’re fueling growth for our communities, our employers and our state.”

Any TAI member organization can access the Iowa Tech Talent Network through the member portal at technologyiowa.org. More information is available at membership.technologyiowa.org/iowa-tech-talent-network-candidates.

The Technology Association of Iowa was founded in 1997. IEDA’s mission is to strengthen economic and community vitality through business and community development programs at the state and federal level.
