Skogman Insurance announced it has acquired Amana Insurance Agency, effective Feb. 1.
The Amana agency provides personal and commercial insurance coverage to policyholders in the Amana area through a network of national carriers. Skogman will retain the Amana Insurance Agency name, agents and Amana office.
“We are excited to have the Amana Agency join Skogman Insurance,” Hunter Skogman, president of Skogman Insurance, said in a statement. “Amana Insurance has an outstanding and experienced staff, dedicated to serving the needs of businesses and individuals in the Amana area. As two locally owned companies that share the same mission and commitment to great customer service, this partnership is a natural fit. Skogman Insurance prides itself on agent-driven, hometown service, and the Amana Agency aligns perfectly with that approach.”
The acquisition will provide Amana customers with additional carrier choices, expanded resources and added support, according to the announcement.
