Skogman Commercial Group announced that Ogden & Adams will be moving from its current location at 144 32nd Street SE Cedar Rapids and building a new lumberyard and showroom in Hiawatha.
The new facility will be located on a 3-acre site at Ketelsen Drive West, just north of
Boyson Road off North Center Point Road according to a release. Steve White with Skogman Commercial Group represented Ogden & Adams and Douglas Laird with Skogman Commercial Group represented Don Primus, the seller.
“After a lengthy review process, we are excited to announce we will be expanding our presence in the area,” said Marty Hoeger, owner of Ogden & Adams. “Our new facility
will provide an enhanced customer experience, and a location adjacent to interstate 380 will provide greatly improved access and outstanding visibility.”
Founded in Cedar Rapids in 1913, Ogden and Adams is a lumber and building material supplier that has served the area for more than 100 years. Construction will start this fall with a grand opening expected in spring, 2022.
