The U.S. Small Business Administration backed 47 loans for $16,368,100 to Iowa businesses in June, including two in the Corridor.
Area businesses receiving loan approvals in June included:
- Wise Mind Iowa LLC, Iowa City, $350,000
- Mango Jaziel Refrequeria LLC, Washington, $64,000
Corridor loan approvals totaled $414,000 in June. Corridor businesses reported retaining three jobs and creating 10 as a result.
Statewide, the SBA 7(a) and 504 programs capitalized 26 new and 21 existing businesses that report creating 247 new jobs and retaining 152 jobs as a result.
