Ponseti Kids for a Cause Triathlon coming to the Corridor

The Ponseti Kids for a Cause Triathlon will be held for the first time in Iowa City on June 3, World Clubfoot Day. The fundraiser, which includes swimming and biking, was founded in 2011 in St. Paul, Minnesota, by a family of a young boy who was treated by renowned clubfoot specialist, Ignacio Ponseti, in Iowa City.

The Iowa City event is divided into two age groups, 4-6 and 7-14 year olds. The group for ages 7-14 will begin at 9 a.m. at the Coralville Aquatic Center, 1513 Seventh St., Coralville. The group for ages 4-6 will begin at 11 a.m. the Coralville Marriott Hotel, 300 E. Ninth St., Coralville. Ages will be determined by the participant’s age on race day.

Registration is $25 for individuals and $45 for families of more than three people. Details are being finalized. For more information, visit www.clubfootsolutions.org.
