Papa John’s Pizza of Iowa is partnering with Iowa Swarm Collective in support of Iowa men’s and women’s basketball athletes. The partnership was announced April 20.

Throughout the year, men’s and women’s basketball athletes will participate in various activities for Papa John’s of Iowa, including in-person meet and greets and social media campaigns. In addition, the athletes will give back to the community through the company’s Pizza with Purpose initiative.

According to a news release from Papa John’s Pizza, this new partnership “will benefit our communities, customers, and our team members.”

“The new partnership with Papa Johns of Iowa is an exciting opportunity for members of our men’s and women’s basketball team,” said Brad Heinrichs, CEO of Swarm. “Papa Johns of Iowa is owned and operated by Iowans and is a great fit for Swarm as we work to expand our footprint across the state of Iowa and provide NIL opportunities for our Iowa student-athletes.”

The Swarm Collective, a non-profit organization founded in 2022, works with Iowa men’s  and women’s basketball and football student-athletes to facilitate partnerships with local charities and nonprofits, business owners, and surrounding communities while compensating student athletes for their charitable efforts.
