Marion will hold informational sessions for commercial and residential contractors and developers Feb. 3 at the Lowe Park Arts & Environment Center, 4500 N. 10th St.
The morning session, from 9-10:30 a.m., will focus on commercial contractors and developers. Representatives from city departments and economic development partners will discuss topics affecting the building construction industry. Refreshments will be provided.
A second session at 11:30 a.m. will target residential contractors. Staff from Marion’s Community Development Department, including planning and building divisions, along with representatives from the Marion Water Department, Fire Department and Public Works Department will provide development news for residential builders. A box lunch will be provided.
