Linn County Public Health names new deputy director

Linn County Public Health (LCPH) has named Eric Bradley as its new deputy director. He will begin his new role on Nov. 22.

“We are pleased to welcome Eric Bradley to our agency,” said Pramod Dwivedi, health director, in a news release. “Eric brings with him comprehensive public health knowledge and experience essential to strengthen and enhance capacity of LCPH.”

Mr. Bradley is a graduate of University of Georgia where he earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental health. He later earned a master of public health degree from American Public University in Virginia. He is currently the environmental health manager at the Scott County Health Department, a position he has held for the last six years. He comes to LCPH with nearly 25 years of experience in public health.

“I am excited to become the deputy director of the Linn County Public Health Department. I look forward to working with the department’s staff and the community to address the public health problems we all face and to increase the positive impact LCPH has on the people of Linn County,” Mr. Bradley said.
